Our training is real world, in that, we try to expose your dog to as many things as possible so that your dog will not be reactive when you are out in public.

Many training businesses train in a hall or a building that provides the same stimuli week after week. Other businesses train in a park, but the dogs are kept on long lines.  Those that train with us, train on 10 fenced-in acres.

Our facility allows us to be able to test your dog in many different situations so that you can understand the level your dog is currently at.  It is important to identify a dog’s training weaknesses so that he will not be exposed to unnecessary dangers.

In our experience, the owner often needs more training than the dog. We encourage questions and try to break things down into easy to understand terms. For those that have a more academic interest, we can provide reasonable explanations behind the science of why things work.

We view ourselves as personal trainers and we will do everything we can to motivate you to work with your dog and reach much further than your initial goals.

We pay careful attention to what your goals are and try to customize the training so that your most immediate issues and needs will be resolved in a timely manner.  Timely resolution of problems is always the foremost goal.

At the same time, we also provide training for items that you might think that you don’t need. We do this because it will allow you to understand how to train a dog so that you can train new commands on your own, long after you are done training with us.

Providing an understanding of the process is immensely important to us.

We have 10-fenced in acres and a 2000 sq. foot building.  Charlotte competitors simply can’t compete with us, in this area, as we can offer advanced training scenarios due to our larger enclosed areca.  Our building has a rubber floor with foam underneath it, that provides a lower impact surface. This translates into safety for your pet and expands on the types of training we can do. It simply would not be safe to have your dog running and jumping on concrete floors.

We train in a very  dynamic manner that is fun for your dog. You will find that your dog is tired after training and will probably sleep on the ride home.

There is hope! Dogs barking and lunging at other people is known as Reactivity.  We are excellent at resolving this problem. We regularly have clients that experience an extreme difference in just a couple of sessions.

We specialize in off-leash work. We want you to be able to do more with your dog and also to have a safer dog. When your dog comes when called he should also be returning to you in an enthusiastic manner with his head held high.
